Did you ever have a bruised tooth ligament due to malocclusion?

Did you ever have a bruised tooth that won’t heal? Not looking for medical advice lol just maybe if someone else had it? Because I feel like patient zero 🤣😂 I didn’t even know you can bruise tooth ligaments 😭

I’m currently in orthodontic treatment and the upper teeth got shifted back that one upper right premolar hits one lower one right below it head on for a while (they’re in the process of being moved away to the correct position but it takes time).

It’s been five months and it won’t get any better. If anything it gets worse and the tooth next to it now hurts too. My dentist and my orthodontist are at a loss. Nothing we can see is wrong with the tooth. No cavity, no crack as far as we can tell from the x rays and tests we could do.
Both and a third dentist have said it’s bruised tooth ligament likely - they hurt randomly (sharp, throbbing, sometimes dull). One I can’t touch sometimes, sometimes is totally fine. But only hurts when pressed from the front. The other only hurts after I chewed on it. They’re fine with temperature.

My dentist said we can’t take a CBCT right now as I have an orthodontic device (distalizer) screwed into my palate and it’d scatter radiation+disturb the pics. I have to ask my ortho but he’s on vacation for two weeks
