Can I stop taking it?

I took 2 doses, and halved my 10 mg pills. So I took 2 doses of 5 mg over the course of 2 days. Do I need to taper off of the meds if I want to stop taking it, or is there not enough in my system yet to warrant a taper?

I know the first week or two your symptoms get worse before they get better but the amount of anxiety this has caused me is unbearable and I can’t sleep. Now I’m lying awake at night because I hear a whooshing sound. I think I am super sensitive to the meds and I don’t want to do this.
