Saving up for a pc, what parts should I get?

So I don’t know a single thing about building a pc BUT I want to suprise my bf with one on his birthday so I’m saving up. Can someone help me with what parts to get?

I should have around £1000-1200 saved up till his birthday but he doesn’t have a monitor or a keyboard so that would also could part of the budget.

I know he values fps over graphics so it would be nice if I could get him a pc that would run modern games in 60 fps at least. And in terms of what he would use it for I don’t know which exact games but he plays ranked/competitive shooters. (I also want to get him to play cyberpunk so it would be great if that would run with solid fps lol)

I’ll be buying all the parts from the UK in december of this year.

That’s basically about it. I really want this to be a nice suprise so I’d really appreciate the recommendations. Itd also be really nice if anyone can tell me where to learn the basics on how to build and set up a pc from scratch.
