Hello, recently purchased this mouse and want to make a simple review for those considering this mouse.

For reference, I am ranked Immortal in Valorant and Ascendant 0 in Destiny 2. I play strictly claw grip, and swap between both pincer and relaxed depending on the game. My current pad is the Kurosun Shogun (Control Pad).

Overall, I love this mouse. Definitely endgame for those who enjoy this shape.

Vaxee build quality is great as always, the coating is matte with a subtle texture and no issues with side wobbles or creaking when squeezing the mouse.

There are 3 main changes in the mouse that are notable compared to the V2.

Sensor, Sensor Position, and Stock Skates.

The sensor feels very smooth, especially on competitive mode. I believe this is a custom sensor and a modified version of the PAW 3955. However the most notable change is the sensor positioning, it sits higher than last two versions and is symetrical with the mouse wheel. I did not like the V2 sensor position which was more to the right of the mouse, and find this one way more comfortable to use. Additionally the stock skates are way better, and very similar to the ones found on the Pulsar FS-1 Collab. You get additional set of full skates, as well as dot skates which were not featured in the last version. In terms of feeling, its on the faster side and definitely mainable if you enjoy them.

The dongle is also a nice upgrade that is worth talking about, its now functionable and the main way to change the mouse settings. The first two buttons change the DPI and Polling, while the third button allows you to swap between different profiles you can customize on the web drivers.

Is it worth the $150?

If you enjoy the mouse shape, and want upgraded sensor tech/sensor position then abosolutely. VAXEE make reliable, solid mouses that are built to last, and I have confidence you will get your money out of it.

However if you are blind buying and never used this shape I would definitely do more research.

Like the Zowie U2, you either love it or hate it. You are definitely buying into the shape over tech, and Vaxee return policy is very strict!

The mouse wheel is smaller than most mouses, so if your jump key is binded to your scroll wheel I would keep this mind. Additionally the side buttons are also small, being pill shaped/spaced apart. They are on the mushier side than clicky, and if you bind your melee or ability buttons to it you may not like it.

This mouse is low profile like most claw grip mouses, though offers a shorter hump compared to a shape like a ZA. Because its asymetrical, it offers a deeper thumb grove on the left and a wider hump on the right for your ring and pinky finger to rest on.

Although palm and fingertip is viable depending on the size of your hands, I would not reccomend it and would consider the ergo version instead if you are looking for a mouse with a higher hump.

Feel free to ask any questions or comparisons with any of the shapes on my desk.
