The show vs. The book

I don't mean to stir a hornets nest but I was curious how far the show is straying from the book? I'm not very crazy about this season, no hate if you are that's awesome for you. But I'm curious cuz obviously there's a lot of love for the books so even if we all hated this season then it would kinda hint that the show is straying too far from the book.
