I really thought it was the miracle cure

I've had migraine attacks every 2-3 years since I was a kid and I just now met a doctor willing to give me medication for it, even though they're quite rare for me.

Well today it happened and I felt okay for once because I knew that nurtec would most likely help. And it did! So we'll it was shocking to me, actually. Hours of excruciating pain turned into two-ish hours of frustrating, but not debilitating pain. My attacks before usually lasted 8-16 hours, laying flat on my back in the dark crying and groaning in pain + throwing up for every one of those hours. Instead I was able to watch TV and hangout with my girlfriend today, I had little to complain about. I was so shocked and happy to have found something that literally gets rid of the pain and felt like it prevented it from ever getting too bad!!

I woke up 30 minutes ago, 10 hours since my nurtec dose. Migraine aura :| can't take more. It hurts so bad. WTF.

First time taking a triptan, my doctor directed me to take one if nurtec fails. It definitely has not started working at all, the pain came on so fast I feel like I got hit by a truck. Coughing hurts. Sneezing hurts. It hurts.
