Can I start a new YouTube channel after a YPP suspension for reused content?
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for advice from creators who have been in a similar situation.
My channel was recently removed from the YouTube Partner Program for reused content. I genuinely believe this was an incorrect evaluation because I create my own animations from scratch, edit my own videos, and even showed my animation and editing workflow in my appeal video. Despite that, my appeal was denied.
The email I received says I can reapply for YPP after 90 days on my current channel, but it doesn't say anything about creating a new channel.
My questions are:
- Can I create a completely new YouTube channel in a different niche during the 90-day waiting period?
- Can I use my existing AdSense account if the new channel eventually qualifies for YPP?
- Has anyone had a channel receive what they believed was a false reused content decision and later successfully monetized a new channel?
- Does a reused content decision on one channel affect YPP reviews for a brand-new channel?
I'm not trying to bypass YouTube's policies. I just want to know what others have experienced and whether a new, original channel is reviewed independently.
I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone with firsthand experience.
Thanks!
