Non-scale victory

Need to post this because I am feeling a little happy and excited by an nsv. I make sure not to talk about my body or weight or anyone else’s IRL so I can’t really share this with anyone except here.

A year ago I was a size 20 (size 16 USA), and now I’ve been fitting into size 12 easily (size 8 USA). Including some dresses I kept from previously slimmer days. (Started at 101kg, currently 73kg).

Perimenopause did a real number on me, and it’s just a huge relief to feel slightly more in control. I’ve also been managing endometriosis since I was very young, so I have had to learn that I have little control over my body regardless of how perfectly I treat it.

Anyway this is a massive nsv for me.

There’s a part of me that knows this might only be temporary, unless I can stay on a low dose long term. I hope I can. I hope I can just get back into and stay in a normal bmi.
