Questions about parent farming
I've been gone from the game for a few months, and coming back to it now I'm just lost. I've attempted parent farming in the past but I'm still rusty on it, and with auto training / Grand Live / scenario changes, I'm unsure on what to do for good parents now.
1 - When parent looping, should I keep switching my next trainee every round or should I wait until I have better white sparks? For instance, I have a setup where my Umas are
Vodka <- Oguri + Tachyon
Oguri <- Tachyon + Grass Wonder
Tachyon <- Grass Wonder + Vodka
Grass Wonder <- Vodka + Oguri
If I already have a good Vodka, with say, 10 white sparks, and I'm on the loop part where I create another Vodka but I only create one with 9 white sparks, do I just keep doing with the loop or do I repeat a Vodka training in order to try and get a better one?
2 - I have no clue which scenario to start running from. I've already made good starter Umas (all 4 of the ones mentioned) with good white sparks, but I haven't had a plan yet. I was planning on just looping auto trainings in Grand Live and hoping it would work out, but I've seen differing opinions, such as restarting my run in Ura Finale in order to get Racing Spirit Stam / Power sparks and then moving to Unity Cup and then Grand Live from there. Is this strictly necessary for things such as Champions Meet? I haven't even attempted CMS yet so I'm still really rusty.
In other words, is Racing Spirit Stam / Power necessary for things such as Pace Chasers? I've heard that Racing Spirit Wit is good for Front Runners (I think?), and I've heard even more about Ignited Spirit Wit and stuff for Unity Cup. I'm currently parent looping to try and get a better Xmas Oguri (my oshi) and I'm not sure if Racing Spirit Stam / Power is really required for my runs (I'm just going off hype)
I'm honestly asking this because most of my Ura Finale runs have been REALLY low in spark count, I got a really good run first try, but the ones after that I've only been averaging around \~6 white sparks per run, and that's after buying almost everything in the shop (at least the good skills for Pace Chasers) and also having double circle affinity on my parents, whereas Grand Live has been a lot more consistent on high spark count parents.
3 - I've heard that Ura Finale is mostly used for Great Grandparent farming. Under this assumption, am I to assume that
I should create 4 Great Grandparents with Racing Spirit Stam, then switch to Unity Cup and create a good grandparent there, then move to Grand Live for my actual parent? Or does switching to Unity Cup just act as another part of the loop and would result in my final Great Grandparent, and then play Grand Live twice in order to get a good parent?
Mind you, I'm honestly just not looking forward to playing Trackblazer. I've heard that it's the best option for minmaxxing parents, but at this point I'd rather just get it done with autotraining in Grand Live and calling it a day. I've played too much MANT already.
4 - If I was to start from Ura Finale again, should I repeat runs until I have Racing Spirit Stamina on all my Umas?
For instance, most of my good parents right now (of the 4 mentioned) have around \~12 white sparks (on themselves, disregarding parents). If I was to rebuild another Vodka in Ura Finale instead of Grand Live, and I get a run with say 8 white sparks including Racing Spirit Stam, should I just move on to Oguri and farm her until she gets Racing Spirit Stam, then move on from there? Or should I wait until I have another Vodka with more than 12 white sparks and Racing Spirit Stam?
5 - I've been running parent loops in Grand Live, with a fully maxxed out deck (MLB SSR Kitasan Black SPD, MLB SR Sweep Tosho SPD, MLB SSR Agnes Tachyon SPD, MLB SSR Light Hello, MLB SR Daiwa Scarlet WIT, MLB SSR Fine Motion WIT). However, for parent farming, would you switch to other SR cards for the skills instead? I'm really asking this because I don't know what cards are good for parent farming, only what cards are good for Ace runs.
