Yes, there was a time when I lied to a teacher way back in SHS to hide a friend's problem. Back then, my friend arrived an hour late, because he told me that he would be late because of a serious family problem but he didn't want anyone else to know except me. So I lied to our teacher and gave her a different reason so that I could keep his secret.

Lying was still wrong, even though I did it with good intentions. Now, looking back at what happened. I should've privately explained the situation to the teacher or just asked my friend to talk to our teacher about it.
