I’m building “the social network for founders” — roast my app before I waste another year on it

Quick backstory: I got into this because of music, not startups.

I kept wondering why artists lose so much creative control to labels, and the answer is always the same — money. So I started sketching a platform where fans could directly back an artist’s career instead of a label owning them. Then I realized the exact same problem exists for founders, makers, anyone building something.
You can have a genuinely good idea and still fail because nobody hears about it, nobody backs it, and you’re stuck juggling five different platforms just to stay visible (crowdfunding site, Instagram for updates, TikTok for short videos, some forum for community).
So that’s what I’ve been building — one place that does all of it.

Right now the app (called Questin) lets founders:

- create a project page with their crowdfunding link attached

- post updates

- post short-form videos, TikTok/Reels style

- ask the community questions

- get followers and build an actual community around the project

- see everything (views, followers, questions, comments) in one dashboard instead of five tabs

Attaching a few screenshots of the discover feed, the founder dashboard, and the community/feed page so you can actually see what I mean instead of just reading buzzwords.

I’m not trying to sell anyone anything here, I genuinely want to know if this makes sense before I sink another year into it. So please be brutal:

- Would you actually use this?

- What’s missing?

- What feels pointless or redundant?

- What would make you delete it in 5 minutes?

Am I solving a real problem, or just building another social network with extra steps?

I’d rather get torn apart in the comments now than find out a year from now that nobody needed this.
