Weather in May

Hello everyone! We're thinking of visiting krakow and Zakopane early May!

What's the weather like during that time? Will we need heavy jackets or just some light rain coats?

It will be just after the national holiday, will it still be very crowded? Is it a good idea to come that time of year?
