[V1] Writing prompt for lotm inspired short story

Okay, hear me out please.
So I’ve recently finished V1 of the novel and seen the Donghua, and I love the character and worldbuilding.
I also love writing short stories and recently discovered that taking an existing character and world and writing a few pages about them is really good practice for staying consistent to a character, etc… I usually do an emotional or contemplative or generally deep scene, some character study, y’know…
Lotm really struck my inspiration and I want to write something about it, but unfortunately that’s as far as my inspiration goes right now🤣
So… does anyone have any unused ideas to that end? If possible without spoilers beyond V1?🙈
I’m not planning to post them online or anything, just a little fun writing exercises for me :)
