Amazon not packaging things

Anyone else getting things ordered from Amazon that aren't in any kind of Amazon box or envelope? They are just taking the item in its original packaging and slapping a mailing label on it. This lets everyone know what you've ordered. I was not making a big deal about this, but recently it ruined a gift I planned to give to a member of my household at a later date. They are really nothing like they use to be.
