Hey everyone! 👋

Just wanted to give a quick update on where ShowSync is at and where we're heading next.

**Android**
The latest Android version is now **1.11.2**! 🎉

The biggest recent update was **1.11.0**, which introduced home screen widgets. Since then we've shipped a couple of smaller updates that mainly focused on bug fixes, including a fix for the excessive logout issue some users were experiencing.

**iOS... well... 😅**

Unfortunately Apple has been making things a little difficult lately.

The App Store version is still stuck on **1.9.0**. Since submitting 1.10.0, reviews have been taking an incredibly long time. I ended up pulling the review a few times so I could include newer updates instead, meaning 1.11.0 and the later bug fix releases.

After waiting several days, I requested an expedited review from Apple.

That did get things moving... but also resulted in two rejections:

* One because my iPad screenshots were apparently outdated.
* Another because I'd marked the app as collecting more privacy-related data than it actually does (essentially I was being *too* strict in the privacy questionnaire).

Both issues have now been fixed and resubmitted, so... we're back to waiting. 🤞

Luckily that doesn't stop development!

Here's what's currently on the roadmap:

* 📊 **Shareable statistics** — Monthly recap stories, beautiful stat cards, lifetime viewing posters, and more. (If you have ideas for these, I'd love to hear them!)
* ⭐ **Character voting** — Vote for your favourite character after each episode.
* 👥 **Better community discovery** — Find people with similar TV taste much more easily.
* ⚙️ **Special episode settings** — Decide how specials should affect your progress.
* 🔄 **Rewatch mode** — Want to binge your favourite show again? Mark it as *Rewatching* and start from episode one while keeping your original watch history intact.

Thanks again for all the feedback, bug reports, feature requests, and encouragement. It's genuinely shaping ShowSync into something much bigger than just another TV tracker. ❤️
