My back pain and how I am managing it
My back isn't as bad as some of the extreme cases here but the pain is still there.
I'm not pain free. My back feels like it's been forever tight. My new SNRI medicine seems to be compounding the effects of high stress and difficult work. Because I work from home and can't afford an ergonomic chair, my back posture remains malformed and that stresses my back even more.
I have been doing stretches for two weeks and it's been somewhat manageable. Before sleeping and upon wakeup.
And during the day, I try to keep my back mobile by streching specific upper back areas.
Without these measures, I wouldn't be able to work. If you CAN do stretches to make yourself functional, please don't ignore it.
One of the biggest problems with adult life is learning how to manage your body.
