job offer with 19k monthly salary

Career Advice/Discussion

I’m a fresh grad from one of the Big 4 universities and I just got a job offer with a starting salary of 19k (Marketing-Related Position).

I graduated last June and started applying last July. Ever since I graduated, I haven’t been asking my parents for allowance anymore and have just been using the money I got from my internship. Pero syempre, that can only get me so far. No one’s really pressuring me to find a job ASAP, but I also don’t want to keep asking my parents for money so I want to be employed as soon as possible.

Considering my credentials and experience, I honestly feel like the 19k offer is a lowball. But with how long the hiring process has been for the other companies I applied to, I’m considering accepting this offer for the meantime para may pumapasok parin na money while I continue applying for other jobs.

I just wanted to ask if you guys think this is a wise decision, or if there are other things I should consider before accepting.

For reference:
- Hybrid setup (3x a week onsite)
- Office is in Makati
- I live in QC and plan to commute (Carousel)
