Property manager trying to come over without fair notice

NSW

We sent out a two week notice today. At 2 PM the property manager emailed say they were coming round at 10 am the next day to do a pre-vacate inspection.

I said the property wouldn’t be ready for an inspection and that I required fair notice. In NSW that’s not fair warning (I work from home and have important meetings all day I can’t re arrange last minute). I suggested that they come the following morning.

He gets on the phone to me and starts going on about how a pre-vacate inspection isn’t the same as a normal inspection. He says things like ‘as long as you’re not refusing access’ and that he has given me notice.

Essentially implying I don’t understand and that he’s allowed to come over tomorrow for an inspection…really tries to pressure me into saying yes.

I ask him if it’s legal to enter without proper notice for inspections and he says it is….but then changes his tune and agrees to the Thursday after I tell him I want him to send through the legal framework he’s working from so that I understand.

The way I was spoken to has put a real bad taste in my mouth.

Do I need to mention that sort of behaviour to anyone to flag it?

Like I can’t articulate how long I had to say no for. It was like the better part of a five minute phone call just arguing about access tomorrow.
