Joining MBBS via State Quota over a drop year, anyone else doing the same?
This was my first NEET attempt. I was scoring well in the May 3 exam, but it dropped significantly in the June 21 re-exam. So this year didn't go as well as I'd hoped, and honestly, I think I could've scored higher with a drop year. But looking at how uncertain next year's exam and pattern might be, I decided to just take a semi-govt seat through state quota instead of gambling another year away.
I'm joining KPC or JIMSH this year. Not sure if it's the "safe" choice or the "settling" choice, but it felt right given everything.
Anyone else joining this year who chose a private/ semi-govt seat over dropping? Would love to hear how you're thinking about it.
Also if you're incoming to KPC or JIMSH this batch and already planning to prep for NEET PG alongside college, let's connect. Want to build a serious peer group from day one, with people who'll actually stay consistent, aiming for a decent govt college in PG.
