USA OR FINLAND
I’m 3rd year medical student from Finland and was wondering would it be worth it to try to come to the states to work as a doctor aftwr graduating or just staying here in Finland.
Pros and cons of living in finland as a doctor
Dont need to complete residency to work as an independant doctor 60-90k/annually✅✅
Almost no competition for residency ✅
Good work life balance✅
Recidency lasts 5-6 years❌
During residency salary is 40-60k/ annually❌
After graduation salary is 70-120k/ annually✅
Taxes are around 30-40%❌
Residency in the states 3-6 years✅
During residency 60-80k❌
Aster residency Salary 250-700/k annually✅✅✅
1 year of savings in the US is equivalent to 5-8 years in Finland.✅✅
