Do you flash ult?

I recently picked up Milio. He is fun to play, but mainly to counter hard CC ult like Seraphine's.

My problem is his ult range is quite short. when my team get CC, unless I am right next to them, by the time I walk up into range the CC is already almost over, may as well save it. In the games I still use it but watching replay yeah could have save it. The preemptive ult for tenacity is better than nothing but still I want to make full use of it.

So my question is how do you position yourself, or do you just flash for it?
