Two weeks notice for college?

Im going into my junior year at a state college a few hours from my hometown. I’ve been working a summer fast food job for the last month or so and am approaching two weeks until when I need to leave to go back to school.

When I interviewed, I had the college on my resume, so I stated that I was going online for the rest of my degree.

I am a blabbermouth and a bad liar and when making conversation with coworkers when they asked my age and if I’m in school, I stated I went to this school and the manager didn’t know.

How do I go about leaving? I feel bad ghosting because I know that the manager will bring it up to coworkers and they’ll tell him yeah I went back to school. The manager has really liked me and asked me if I’d be interesting in moving up with leadership.

Any advice?
