Apology+ clarification

Hello, I've taken into consideration what people told me in the comments under my other post (that I have taken down because I was ashamed). I've decided to make the character Maori and not Incan. He would be a native to the land. But I still have some questions: first of all, do you maybe have any ideas for the name of the character? He's a fierce and strong leader and also a very clever one. Also, is the name "Tai Mate" suitable for the name of a land? If no, I ask for some recommendations. Lastly, I wish to be educated on the topic of Ta Moko: the root of it, meaning, placement on the body (it's okay if you do not want to!!!!). That's all for now, please tell me if there are more things I should be aware of when introducing Maori characters. I never wish to appropiate cultures, I only want to appreciate and celebreta them.
