Does anyone else think the community is horrible toward new/bad players?

It feels like if you suck at the game the community hates you and if you want help they are just hostile toward you for wanting to improve. Don't even get me started on the statshaming people do where they see every player who hasn't got a top 1% rating as awful.

Maybe I'm just having bad experiences but I have said this to others and they have agreed. Now don't get me wrong I'm not saying bad players should be coddled I just think that the community should be constructive instead of destructive

Context: I'm a pretty bad player who has had a lot of really bad experiences trying to get help.
