Rick n Morty ending

I feel that if the series were to have an ending, it would be either Rick or Morty dying.

Hear me out, perhaps another super evil variant of Rick, or a force beyond god, or maybe even the simplest thing escalating into unstoppable danger caused by Rick’s superiority complex kills one of them.

If Rick gets killed, maybe it would be due to self sacrifice to save Morty from some life threatening danger, leading to a somewhat emotional ending. If Morty gets killed, instead of leading Rick to seek revenge like what he did after Diane’s death, maybe the time and experiences spent with Morty changed his outlook on revenge and he chooses acceptance. It’s the only way out, I believe. Or maybe they both die together happily, but I feel that it’s unlikely.

Orrr maybe there’s a near death experience and Rick almost wipes Morty from existence, to the point where Rick decides to leave him for Morty’s own safety? Or it could be like the Spider Man scenario where he wipes the memory of himself in every dimension by erasing himself with the Omega Device.
