My Experience at the YEIDA Authority Office – Extremely Disappointing

I recently visited the YEIDA Authority office, and honestly, it was one of the worst experiences I've had at a government office.

There seems to be no accountability whatsoever. For even the smallest task, one person sends you to another, then another, and before you know it, you've been redirected to 10 different people with no clear answer.

No one appears willing to take ownership or help.

The most shocking part was the so-called phone help desk. I saw a board indicating it was the phone/help desk, but instead of attending to calls or assisting people, 3–4 staff members were sitting together playing Ludo. It genuinely made me wonder whether the helpline phones even work.

The office premises were also in poor condition. There was a strong urine smell right beside the reception gate, as if people regularly urinate on the wall there. It's an awful first impression for anyone visiting.

What worries me the most is that this authority is responsible for planning and developing an entirely new city. If they can't manage their own office efficiently and maintain basic cleanliness and accountability, it raises serious concerns about governance and public service.

Has anyone else had a similar experience at the YEIDA office?
