Help for HS which I only learned of yesterday!

Maybe you all know this already but because I have not been on this subReddit in a year I learned this through experience alone

. I haven’t had flares in a year. I thought it was because, and it probably is in significant part, that I decided not to wear underwear at all anymore. However, I had a flare that started four days ago, and I had a telemedicine visit with a nurse practitioner. She told me that.GLP 1 medications have been showing great promise in treating HS - and I have been on Ozempic to treat diabetes 2. Easy to Google the medical reasons for its positive effect on HS. Along with Ozempic (and in connection to HS, it would be any GLP 1, it actually treats inflammation. I’ve lost 30 pounds and most importantly it’s lowered my.A1C to an almost normal level within three months of taking it. It’s very easy to see how it has probably been a big factor in the considerable lowering of my flares. You do not have to be diabetic for the GLP 1 meds to help with inflammation.
