Has anyone paired the XE-5 with a telephoto lens over 300mm focal length and used it for bird photography?

I'm on the market for an XE-5. I got into photography for Bird photography and slowly learnt to love street and landscape. I became a dad last year so going off on long treks for birds is out of the question at least for the next 5 years. But I would there's that small part of me that still misses it and was wondering if somewhere down the line I can eventually pair it with a telephoto as well.
