NZMS and Rehoming My Shrimps

My tank has (somehow) succumb to New Zealand mud snails. After speaking with another Redditor more educated on the matter, I’ve decided it is best to completely take down the tank and rehome my babies. Does anyone have any extra advice on how to do this safely as to not give my friends any of the snails? They are still very small and white, you can see them swimming around but they’re still not blatantly obvious (at least to me). They will be quarantining the shrimp before adding them to their tank, and they are much more knowledgeable than me when it comes to shrimping. Any advice is helpful. I am extremely upset and would be devastated if I accidently got Nzms in my friends tank.
