anyone else lose an entire evening to reorganizing one drawer

okay so tonight i just wanted to charge my phone. went to the kitchen drawer where we keep all the random cables and adapters. you know the one. it was already overflowing but i thought hey i can just dig for a minute. big mistake. i pulled out a tangle of wires and suddenly i was on the floor with everything spread out trying to figure out which charger belongs to which old device. what started as "let me find a lightning cable" turned into me testing every single pen to see if it still writes. and then i found a bag of rubber bands, three pairs of scissors that are all somehow dull, and a single key that i have zero memory of ever seeing before. i even found a receipt from 2019 for something i can't remember buying.
