boox Go7 page turning on borrowbox app

hi! i’m trying to set up my page turning buttons on the borrowbox app but when setting the app to page turning it just does nothing when i press the buttons. the buttons still work for Libby so i was wondering whether borrowbox doesn’t support the Boox buttons and if so, if there’s any way around this?

thank you :)
