Maintenance you do on your Camry? 2009 2.4l 222k miles.

Maintenance

I just want to get some maintenance tips from some experienced Camry owners here. I'm about to be redoing my entire front end, and my valve cover gasket.

I'm experienced with handling all this, I've got years in a shop under my belt, but with many makes and models, I'm not too specific on Toyotas cause they never break down /s but you really don't see them as much in the shop as others. I can work on a kia blindfolded cause I've seen so many problems and they are so easy to work on

Anyway I digress. I'm pretty stoked after finding out I have a timing chain instead of a belt, cause I was gonna ass the belt to the maintenance list .

TLDR

I just wanna know what else y'all would touch up on with a vehicle of this age.

Changing

-struts

-control arms sway bars inner outer tie rods , ball joints

-valve cover gasket and some new plugs, they are only like 20k but have had oil dripping and were the cheapest cause it's all they had.

-like I said timing chain but I change my oil every 5k with good stuff. Thought it was a belt.

I want to get the transmission flushed out real good it's still a little red but obviously old. Ive always been told in the shops I been in unless you have got the transmission properly serviced at intervals, it's probably full of deposits and best to just leave it. But I've also seen Honda service procedures for bad transmissions where they want you to try to flush it 3 times and then put in fresh tranny oil so idk what would you do to this transmission ? Let it run till it dies? Lo

Anything else you could think of to make this baby last longer I'm all for!

Thanks for reading
