Pain advice

I got top surgery on Monday I can’t swallow pills so I got liquid but my insurance only covered 2 meds and almost out. How long does the aching tightness & tenderness start to fade away? My post op appointment to get drains out is next week wensday but my back hurts I will get through it just very painful.
