Need help before I do something dumb (comms related)

Ok so I'm planning to go to Bad Blood next year and I want to situate the stuff I need in advance before I go.
The main issue I'm having is comms, as I've literally never done anything like that before ever lmao.
I read some stuff on here and I heard the Earmor M32s are a decent option, but I'm not sure about the radio.
The page on EVIKE says that I gotta have a "FRS/GMRS 2-way radio" and I have no idea what that means as well as if I can get a radio that can do that and a lot more.

I was originally just gonna get the first radio I found on EVIKE before reading that, which was the BaoFeng BF-F8HP, but then I did a little more research and found out that was a handheld HAM radio and that I also have no idea what the hell I'm doing!

Ideally I would really like to learn how to operate radios as well as having a comms setup that I can use in airsoft, but also use it outside of airsoft; if I'm gonna spend $150 on comms I want them to be useful outside the sport too lol.

Regardless, I would greatly appreciate any kinda help.
