Please advise on whether my cage fits correctly

Hey today was my first time every sleeping in my cage. I have worn it a few times before but I find I can't get my dick to the end of the cage, and if I do, it slips backwards a bit. My balls are constricted a little and I'm worried about damaging them. Any advice? I've been hard since getting it on so maybe I just have to be patient and calm down. I can't attach a pic but I can try describe it. The cage sits at least two inches away from my body, and my dick is probably half an inch away from the end even though it was touching it when I put it on (chubbed up). My dick is too wide to shuffle around in the cage while even slightly chubbed, but also maybe too small when soft. Sorry for the questions, any help is appreciated. Can't wait to get smaller :)
