Does any one know what options I have for Living Organ Donation?

I’m trying to donate my kidney to my mom and I want to know what options I have other than using Pto and UPT. Even with upt maxed out, it wouldn’t be enough time to rest after surgery. It’s recommended I rest for 4-6 weeks after surgery. Has anyone used FMLA or PLA for this?
