Getting a 2nd doodle

We got our bot Tedy 2 years ago and absolutely love him. We’re seriously thinking of getting him a little brother. For those of you that have done this: 1). Is 2 a good age to introduce another dog
2) is it twice the work(after immediate puppy stage)?
3? Did your 1st dog get jealous?
