Waldorf Protein - Midi Split Mode Not Working - Any Tips?

Hello All,

Maybe someone here can chime in as I am getting extremely frustrated I was sold a product that isn't accountable to the hype( multi/split capabilities for this user).

I cannot get the Multi-Split mode to respond to any midi channel past the one midi channel thats assigned to layer A.

Here are my settings:

Receive channel: 1
Send channel: 1
MPE - off
Omni - off

In Midi split mode I should be able to use midi channels 1-4 but I can only use Layer 1 midi channel 1.

When I change my controller to use Layer 2 and midi channel 2 the Protein is not responding. The same issues for Layers 3 & 4.

This is unbelievably frustrating because I purchased this to be used as a 4-part multi timbral synthesizer.
