Does anyone relate to being disgusted by stickers?

Kids are expected to like stickers, so as a I kid when a dentist would try to give me a sticker, I was so grossed out and would try to refuse. The worst was the you must wait 30 minutes after your fluoride treatment to eat/drink sticker that they said had to stay on for the whole 30 minutes (!!).

Band-aids were unpleasant as well. Something about sticky things that collect dirt and pull at your clothes/skin to come off.

But tape is okay? Unless it's really dirty.

I'm wondering now if it's just an autism sensory thing.
