Name change

I've been going back and forth on whether I wanted to change my name until yesterday...It was like discovering my true name (if you're familiar with true naming magic in fantasy). The name Ashley just came to me and gave me a warm fuzzy feeling in my gut like its what I truly was meant for all along. How have others decided on new names?
