Best game mod to play.

I've had my SD for a while now and want to try my hand at getting something off-Steam to run. I love open world, sci-fi, rpg and long-form games. Any suggestions for games I could try? I'm nearing the end of Elden Ring so I will need something to fill the void or else I'm just gonna play Cyberpunk again.
