Why do people still get confused or get mad when you quit after they switch to gojo?

Recently fought a guy who was using yuji (i beat his ass) but swapped to gojo after losing a stock. I reset to end the match and he gets mad? Is gojo not the most famously op and unfun character to fight? You still get the elo so why get mad?
