Extremely curious to try opium

I've had experience with opioids before, namely low doses of legal codeine and recreational tianeptine. I liked the highs but It never got me addicted, I haven't used since then.

However, recently I saw opium poppies growing outside and it was 100% the opium poppy, not the common or oriental poppy, also verified by people who know about flowers.

I have been dealing with the urge to scratch the pod, get the milky sperm looking liquid which has opiates, and swallow it. Not because I want to use it to escape problems but because I'm curious about how it would feel.

I know it's wrong...Should I avoid doing it at all costs?
