Insight on seeking asylum in another country (coming from US)?

My ex has been stalking me through law enforcement for years (my theory is their claims are under the patriot act, because he projects about his terroristic behavior and drug use) and I’ve talked to several attorneys who said they would represent me for a phone call from law-enforcement. Any insight on how to get this to stop, or how I might go about seeking asylum in another country? I’m so sick of it happening regardless of where I go. I’ve moved across the country several times since this has started.

My mother’s friend, who is a deputy state attorney, told me to leave my phone in my apartment at one point (presumably so that they could go through it). Because I needed it for school, and because I value my right to see a warrant, I didn’t.
