PSA: On PC, the game might be causing your GPU temps to skyrocket while in the menu. Watch out for overheating issues.

There was a post recently that highlighted what I believe is a big oversight and something that has to be addressed.

When I boot up my game, my GPU runs at 100% utilization instantly, my fans start revving at max speeds. My hotspot temperature is very quickly (less than a minute) exceeding the 110°C mark that is considered safe for graphic cards. At this point my card has shut down once already, that's what made me come to this subreddit and find the post by another user by chance.

The GPU is fine ingame (runs around 60%) but something in the menu is causing mine and other people's cards to run at 100% power with basically no cap on it.

A few fixes I found include setting the game to fullscreen mode, limiting the FPS while in the menu and undervolting your GPU to reduce max temps and power consumption.

Be on the lookout for your hardware, guys. This game does not warrant 100% card usage with graphics as bad as this. I believe this is an issue that should be fixed by the devs of the game, this seems like a major oversight to me.
