Is it weird that I woke up upset with my boyfriend because of a dream ?

Last night I had a dream I finally got to see my boyfriend, but he completely ignored me the whole time

The worst part wasn't even being ignored, it was how embarrassed and rejected I felt in the dream.

When I woke up, I was actually mad at him for a little while, even though he didn't do anything. ..

Has anyone else experienced this? Why do dreams affect our emotions so strongly ugh
