My thoughts after working with Fractal Mastery and Spiral of Collapse PDFs
Hi friends,
I don't have a clear target with this post, I just wanted to write something to you all to share my experience in working with some of Yeshuani's material - in particular The Spiral of Collapse and Fractal Mastery although I've been following her on TikTok for some time and learn from her that way too.
For context I'm a 39 year old husband and father of 1. For the last 10 years I've worked as a life/productivity coach but am now transitioning to a psychotherapist career. In my coaching work I was massively successful around the pandemic time but have been struggling getting hired since then.
After tons and tons and tons of searching for solutions, I've come to wonder if I hold a sort of karma about myself that holds an essence of failure, disappointment, and embarrassment. I've worked with all sorts of "surface level" solutions such as different ways of creating and positioning content, but after all of that effort I can only conclude that the problem is on the level that Yeshuani typically teaches from.
A line that I loved in Fractal Mastery is: "The human tendency to compartmentalize, to see the physical as separate from the abstract, is an artificial limitation imposed by perception" this shifted something in me. I imagined failure/disappointment as an abstract idea that is just as real as my blood and bones - just real in a different way.
Fractal Mastery taught me about going from struggling with a repeated failure to observing the loop itself and un-creating it. And - crucially - seeing how I personally am involved in maintaining the loops of my own struggle, and to stop maintaining it.
The Spiral of Collapse to me was more about how certain structures that are no longer "coherent" or appropriate for the context tend to just collapse in on themselves when permitted, when no longer being artificially held in place. I've found that I can start saying to myself "collapse it out of the system" and then entire loops/fractals just fall away.
I have not yet witnessed a big turnaround in my life - even though I've been working with this material for a year or so. Internally I've found deeper levels of peace, insight, understanding - that's all been great. I think that these principles will lead to a greater breakthrough on the business front, but I can't say for sure.
My best way of understanding this kind of material is to theorize about it and put it into my own words, so I intend to do some more writing on this kind of thing either here or in different subreddits in order to make better use of it.
