Been trading SOXL for 4 years.
I've been trading leveraged ETFs since 2022, mainly SOXL and TQQQ. (Have profited 300k+ on SOXL in that time.)
I recently found this sub, and it seems like a lot of folks here are newer traders, so I wanted to share some advice on things I've learned over the years, most of it "the hard way".
-
Find supports/resistances, and trade those. By this I mean zoom out to at least the 1 month chart, up to 3 months, and place your orders at these levels. This will sometimes selling at times you don't want to sell.
-
Play multiple levels like mentioned in step 1. Don't try to time the exact bottom and go all in, as this can backfire drastically and leave you without room to maneuver.
-
Always have some dry powder ready to buy the the next level.
In short, look to hit a lot of singles rather than going for the home run. Once you stack up enough of them, you will start to see big gains.
Best of luck!
