Worth Upgrading?

I am currently running a 2070 Super which is beginning to show its age; 1440p gaming has become a struggle in more intensive games which has left me wondering about upgrading. I am tired of Nvidia and would like more Vram so I have been looking at a 9070XT. Currently they are priced between 650-750 which is quite a lot, however I am curious if waiting will be worthwhile considering the slowdown in AI buildouts I wonder if the reduction in demand for HBM will lead to more consumer cards and lower prices. Maybe this isn’t worth counting on, let me know your thoughts
