Hi folks!

Need some advice from my fellow indie game devs!

About 15 years ago I released my first iOS game, Pirates Jewels, which sold at the time for .99 cents on the iOS game store. Unfortunately at the time self publishing on Steam was not a thing and [Itch.io](http://Itch.io/?fbclid=IwcGRvZgFleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFmaUx3T2lrTDlRR0JyVU5Hc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHrzjxufhpm0yo5ZjCntKfsZSz5_AoL9ZeqhTrH2qO1A198aBus8W4E4HvhsM_aem_2W0JIx6yqHRbTqtAEQIYLA) was not available.

Eventually the game slowed down in sales and became out of date from Apple's standards and is no longer available.

So recently I decided to port the game from its old C/C++ code to **Godot 4.7 in C#** code which turned out very nicely.

So here's the question - **is a ported older game worth posting on Steam**? Or should I just put it on [Itch.io](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2FItch.io%2F%3Ffbclid%3DIwcGRvZgFleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFmaUx3T2lrTDlRR0JyVU5Hc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHrzjxufhpm0yo5ZjCntKfsZSz5_AoL9ZeqhTrH2qO1A198aBus8W4E4HvhsM_aem_2W0JIx6yqHRbTqtAEQIYLA&h=AUAXbZskEgAvSKFyhmMSNKIwnMZ42j7f3x3v6vt5j02r2Wz0WHeRh1wG6kBsD3Glo2buLltUgBUIaGAlFJ1wsALmBa3rEXotsAOkbFln6z06eBiW20z-ncVIsE2eeymclGFsOoIuW-iaJJel&__tn__=-UK-R&c[0]=AUCAKl0z_RR4i2e7BSNK31zs0-SDuTB_6Zn45RgXe7N68QWLJ_KS68ENWeC4i0UqlHPh21GJwFjuvsB-u5rV2HjPvsZ8xvlPFHC_qpDgKuJ_uZCCMLA9QbOwjMWO3x2e8xW6YHT4yGCp1QlbrFzmI8IZi12Mvkh2-FYUcQgSZJYcTA) ? Or other ideas?

The main issue with the game from my perspective is its a match-3 game which do not historically do really well on Steam so while I do think I'd make my $100 listing fee back - I'm not confident I would make a lot more?

**What would you do with a restored older game that didn't get distributed very widely?**

I have a couple of other games I plan on also restoring in this fashion - I've thought about creating a bundle on Steam to help drive the sales because they are older games - but if you could get 3 of them for a low price this might help drive revenue vs trying to sell them each individually may be a little less attractive?

Also any feedback about if the graphics / look and feel is holding up is welcome - its hard for me to be objective about it as it has nostalgia being my first game I'm still pretty proud of it.

Ported my 15 year old game to Godot - where should I market or sell it?
